Spot Check Allergy Safe Certification

With food allergies on the rise, having a knowledgeable staff on hand to ensure the safety of your customers is vital. This front and back of the house certification program is designed so that the attendee not only receives their 3 year Allergy Safe certification but can then become a trainer at their own establishment. A book will be given to you at the class, and a confirmation letter will be sent to all registrants. This class will break at noon for a one hour lunch.

ServSafe Advanced Food Safety

WRA & ORLA Members: $130

This nationally recognized advanced food safety course is designed for manager level employees. This class also helps meet the Washington State Board of Health ‘Person In Charge (PIC)’ requirement. Upon successful completion of the course and exam, registrants will receive their 5 year ServSafe Advanced Food Safety certification.

This class is capped at 35 students. Pre-registration is required as materials for this class must be sent to you for pre-study. A confirmation letter will be sent upon registration that lays out the details of exactly what to bring to the class. There is no break for lunch, however those attendance may bring something to munch on during the class.

Heartsaver First Aid

Heartsaver First Aid is a video based instructor led course that teaches students critical skills to respond to and manage an emergency in the first few minutes before EMTs arrive. Included in the training are CPR, managing an obstructed airway, rescue breathing, strategies for dealing with bleeding, broken bones and shock, recognizing and stabilizing spinal injuries and more. Participants receive their first aid certification (a 2 year certificate), which is required for businesses in Washington State.

ServSafe Alcohol Server Training

WRA & ORLA Members: $35

ServSafe Alcohol® is a vital, practical and current responsible alcohol service training program available and accepted in 47 states, including Washington. Developed by the National Restaurant Association, ServSafe Alcohol implements the same approach ServSafe® pioneered as the industry’s most recognized food safety training and certification. It is also approved by the Washington State Liquor Control Board. Those who complete the Washington version of the ServSafe Alcohol course and exam will not only receive their ServSafe Alcohol certification but their Washington state required mixologist (Class 12 or Class 13) permit.

Pre-registration is required as materials must be ordered for the students in advance. Students must bring their photo ID and have their Social Security Number on hand the day of the class.

Clothier & Head’s Annual Restaurant Finance Seminar

This training seminar will cover what restaurateurs need to know about taxes and audits and includes a panel discussion on current trends and changes in the industry. An complimentary cocktail hour for participants will follow upon conclusion of this session.
